Snow Day Adventure!

Due to the weather I got sent home early from work so Dan and I decided to have a little fun...

This is our Alien vs Predator reenactment.

We tried to morph ourselves to Hawaii but it didn't quite work.

But we did get to go swimming with the fish.

Moving Day...s

On our designated moving day we didn't look out the window and started to carry things out. It looked like this.

That's right snow! It's pretty much been spring time here for the past few weeks until the day we decide to move. Today it's raining/snowing so we've made a lot more trips in the enclosed truck (jeep) than we planned on. Here's the only one we made with the truck when there was a break in the weather.

If you look close you might be able to see the water in the truck bed. It wasn't too bad, nothing even close to what Matt and Cara have been through, but we were hoping for the ideal spring time weather to make our move easy.

While moving is never easy this one hasn't been too bad.

Time to pack the computer and who knows when we'll see the internet again so bye for now.

P.S. In case you hadn't heard we're just moving to a different place in the same town, no big deal.

The Zoo

The art exhibit ended at the zoo yesterday. It was a great feeling to get accepted into the show and even better when I got choosen to be in the traveling show. Turns out dreams really do come true. They haven't revealed the dates or venues for the traveling show yet but when they do we'll keep you posted.

Two Wonderful Years!

We spent most of the day soaking in the sun.

It was 72 degrees in Vegas!

We decided to go with the traditional 2nd year gift - cotton.

So we made each other t-shirts.

(It's my fault that the one Dan made me is printed backwards. I thought they needed to be printed mirror image...opps!)

We decided to make the shirts and then go to the after midnight bowling special...

Overall it was a great day and a great anniversary!

Bountiful Baskets

Last Monday we signed up for a bountiful basket and today we picked it up. We were excited because we didn't have to go to the store and what we were getting would be a surprise.

We got...

17 Brussel sprouts

10 Kiwi

8 Minneola (similar to a tangerine)

6 Bananas

6 oz of Blackberries

5 Tomatoes

5 Apples

2 Squash

2 Broccoli bunches

1 English cucumber

1 Head of lettuce

   and

1Pinapple!

All for the low price of 15 dollars. Exciting exotic things we wouldn't have bought ourselves include the pineapple and the blackberries! Things we wouldn't have bought ourselves because we don't like them include brusselsprouts. Anyone know how to make them not taste like brussel sprouts?

Our trip to Idaho

Besides getting to see some of our favorite people...

Crabbing

So crabbing was one of our many fun adventures in Oregon and I decided it needed a little extra attention.

I was pretty cautious about touching them, hello they pinch!

I wasn't afraid of the star fish...mostly.



Dan and Clem weren't afraid of either...or the raw chicken.

Rita came down and joined us making the crabbing experience complete.
